Position availability depends on program need. All positions require a vehicle, valid
driver license, & considerable knowledge of mental illness. Additional minimum requirements: An associates level education OR equivalent related work experience. (Please note: The Senior Counselor position below requires a Bachelor's Degree + related field experience).
Counselors provide support, education, and supervision to people with mental illness. Counselors evaluate client needs, supervise medication, communicate with service providers, assist with goal planning, provide recreation, etc.
F/T Senior Counselor (Cutchogue Community Residence) Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
F/T Counselor (East Northport Community Residence) Monday - Thursday 11pm - 9am
